Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
Whatโs your most memorable Halloween experience?
Turning my front porch into a haunted house when I was 6 years old. My dad’s girlfriend, Patty, took me everywhere to find the perfect decorations, and I was absolutely obsessed. ๐ It was the first time I got to experience what I like to call “sharing the scare.” I was creating something that made other people feel something. Watching the neighbor kids walk up brave and leave completely freaked out was EVERYTHING. ๐ 6 y.o me would be so proud of 35 y.o me!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d make it to the end. and probably get my own sequel. Or 7. ๐ Mostly because I’m actually the killer. I slay all day! ๐ช๐I’m stubborn, determined, and I’m known for getting what I want when I want it, so good luck trying to take me out of the plot. But I’m just as fiercely protective of the people I love. So if you’re on my side, I’m fighting like hell to keep you there. Basically, I’m Freddy with Elm Street, Jason with Crystal Lake.. You can’t kill the main character!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d take my dog Norman somewhere warm, and full of mountains where we could just disappear for a bit. I don’t have kids, so he is my baby, I love spending as much time with him. He’s an anxious rescue boy who absolutely THRIVES when he gets to be outside, exploring, running around and just being a dog. So I’d spend that $ creating memories with my best friend. โค๏ธA little adventure. A lot of fresh air. And too many treats!! also donate a portion to Safe Haven Pet Santuary! His rescue org!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real-life hero is my sister. She adopted me when I was a teenager, when I was a pretty reckless little hell-raiser who probably didn’t realize just how much I needed her. She gave me love, stability, and a kind of care that I desperately needed at the time. She didn’t just show up for me she literally rescued me from a life that could have ended very differently. I truly believe I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her. So I definitely want her on my side!
