What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable Halloween experience was meeting Jordu Schell and Ed Edmunds from Making Monsters. I used to work in stop-motion animation, so meeting artists who bring incredible creatures and monsters to life was incredibly inspiring. I’ve always loved making monsters and the creativity behind creature design. It was a special experience to meet people who turned that same passion into their careers and reminded me why I love this art form.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end of a horror movie because I don’t drink, so I’d avoid the classic “let’s split up at the party” mistake! As a scuba rescue diver, I’ve learned to stay focused under pressure, read body language, act quickly when circumstances change, and remain calm around the unknown. I’m resilient, observant, and I know how to think clearly when things get scary.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

If I won $13,000, I would give it to my father. He came to the U.S. in his 40s with only $300 and spent his entire life working to give my siblings and me a better life. He rarely took vacations or spent money on himself. He sacrificed so much for our family, and I would want this money to be a small way of giving back to the man who gave us everything.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real-life hero would be Ripley from Aliens. She’s calm under pressure, fearless when things get terrifying, and knows how to lead when everyone else is panicking. If I had to survive a horror movie, I’d want her by my side! And honestly, we need more strong female leads in horror movies—so I’d be very happy to have Ripley on my team.
