Halloween was overshadowed by the murder of my grandfather in 70’s. Not anymore! It’s my wedding day and spooky season is all year for me!

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

I was about 4 and my parents dressed me up as a pumpkin. Dad was sad wishing my grandfather was there but, he put on a brave face and took me around my neighborhood twice! We had so much fun and saw all my family and friends. It was one of my more beautiful memories before the real life horrors entered my life.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I think if made right it could be from the perspective of my father and ghosts of his past haunting him while protecting me and keeping me safe from the monsters I would come to know when I grew up.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I have a nonprofit called Still I Rise Empowerment Initiative. Its purpose is to empower and educate women by other women who live incarceration like me for example and made a life far away from the motorcycle club I grew up in when I never thought freedom from it could be possible. Now it not only is possible but there’s peace from my former life and respect to move forward with honor. I want women who come from ghettos find their way into their best life and help woman find true light and joy

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Well my father was always my hero. He was always able to come back fighting for what he believed in and never dishonored himself and stayed true. But today my husband is my true hero. He stood by me while I rebuilt my life and kept me focused with discipline & positive energy even when felt like I had none left. He’s my hero because he showed me what it feels like to be safe and was patient when I was learning how to open up and just be a woman beautiful & comfortable with me. He believes in me
