I don’t become someone else for Halloween. It’s the one night everyone else finally catches up to me.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween experience was throwing an Alice in Wonderland themed party and transforming my entire house for it. I decorated every room, everyone came dressed up, and the whole night felt like stepping into Wonderland. Seeing all of my friends together enjoying something I had put so much creativity into was incredibly special. It was chaotic, whimsical, and so much fun, which is exactly what I love about Halloween.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I keep reptiles and spiders for fun, so the creepy factor is already working against the killer. More importantly, I have common sense. If I hear a noise downstairs, no I didn’t. If someone knocks at 2 a.m., they can keep knocking. I’m not checking the basement, splitting up, or following a mysterious trail of blood. I fully plan on surviving through the power of logic, locked doors, and minding my business.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d use part of it to spoil the animals I already share my life with, and I’d donate a meaningful portion to conservation efforts that protect misunderstood species. A huge part of what I care about is showing people that the animals we’re taught to fear are often just misunderstood. I think the same can be true for people, especially those of us who look a little different, dress a little darker, or don’t quite fit the mold.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Rhea Ripley. Mostly because everyone already tells me I look like her, so I feel like putting us in the same horror movie would be confusing enough to buy us some time. She also seems like exactly the person you’d want around when something starts chasing you. I’d bring the common sense and refuse to investigate suspicious noises. She can handle whatever ignored my advice.
