I grew up looking forward to Halloween, my maternal grandmother's birthday.My mother always hand sewed all of my costumes and I do the same.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
The year I dressed as a man and my mother thought I was my brother. It's quite an excellent disguise when you can trick a mother into thinking that you are her favorite son when you are really her only daughter.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I am a survivor. I have the will to survive. I may be the lone survivor or the lame survivor, but I will survive.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would donate some of the money to my local library because they need their air conditioning fixed and so many people in my community use their resources. I live in the South and air conditioning is a necessity. Then I would use some of the money to publish the book I am writing.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My husband is my real-life hero. He has been with me through many surgeries, including open heart surgery, and then ultimately discovering I have a rare disease which is it's own horror story.
