Halloween is a religious experience in my house annually. Anyone can put out a pumpkin…but how about a guillotine?
Help your favorite Halloween fanatic appear in Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
During a trip to The Palace Hotel in Port Townsend, Washington (a known haunted place), I had 2 supernatural experiences; I saw a shadow figure of a woman and smelled flowery perfume. The location was a former brothel in the 1800’s.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Preparation. The 5 most causes of victim downfall are: 1. Wandering in an unfamiliar area 2. Splitting up 3. No way of communicating 4. No escape plan 5. No way of fighting/defense Best to over prepare before venturing out. Don’t rely on technology to survive (i.e. learn map reading and have up to date maps….GPS isn’t infallible). Working vehicles, tools, batteries, food, water, and oh, I dunno………….COMMON SENSE?!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
Building my workshop. It’s really difficult to rely on a day of manageable weather (especially in Washington State) to upgrade or repair electric chairs, coffins, scaffolding, etc. I’d like to also visit the Winchester House.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Oh wow, that is a tough one. I’d actually would have three choices: 1. Kane Hodder. Come on are you kidding?! A monster and giant of a man to fight other monsters? It takes a Jason to fight a Jason. No question. 2. Jamie Lee Curtis. You have to admit someone who is velvet and steel like Laurie Strode to have with you is a plus in your corner. 3. Bruce Campbell. Yeah, I said it, what about him? Who wouldn’t want Ash to fight with you?
