What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween experience would have to be back in high school when made my first handmade Halloween costume! Back in home and careers class, I learned how to sew and that is where my love of cosplaying began. The following year for 9th grade, I decided I would create my own Halloween costume from scratch and that is when I decided to pattern, hand sew, and carefully craft all a Katara cosplay from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Not the scariest cosplay to start, but my most memorable!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I would 100000% be the final girl in a horror movie because I know when to NOT INVESTIGATE. You don't need to know what that weird sound is, or where that odd noise is coming from, sometimes you just need to leave, in whatever way possible. I've got the strength, the smarts, and the skills, to outrun and outlast others and to escape from danger, because I wouldn't be putting myself in harms way, to begin with. The best way to survive a horror movie is to not end up in one.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
If I was to win the unlucky amount of $13,000, I would 100% put that towards mine and my husbands house fund. The only thing scarier than horror movies, is today's economy and I'm working to survive that each and every day. This prize would be an incredible start to our journey and hopefully the beginning to a happy ending, rather than a horrible one.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
As cheesy as it may sound, my real life hero who I'd want to survive with is my dad. He has always been there for me, constantly lifting me up and supporting me, and no one is as strong and as brave as him. He almost lost his life a few years back when he was run over while at work, and I thought I almost lost him. However, 10 years later, after they said he would never walk again, he is thriving and proving to me he truly is the hero that can survive any challenge that comes his way.
