Spooky nails, pet snakes, and a wedding planned for Halloween weekend—my love for all things haunting runs deeper than October!

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
When I was about 7 or 8, my aunt’s ex dressed as a clown and chased my cousins and me around my grandparents’ neighborhood. Nothing gets your little legs moving faster than a clown coming after you with a chainsaw! It’s a Halloween memory that still sticks with me all these years later—equal parts family fun and childhood horror movie.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’m a hairstylist—I handle sharp objects, unexpected chaos, and hours on my feet for a living. I’m also not investigating a creepy noise or trusting anyone who says, “Let’s split up.” I’ll grab my snakes, find the nearest exit, and save my dramatic final-girl moment for the credits.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d turn that unlucky $13,000 into a lucky beginning for our marriage! It would help pay for our Halloween-weekend wedding in my hometown of Vicksburg, Mississippi, complete with a ghost tour. Being able to celebrate with the people we love without so much financial stress would be the sweetest treat.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My fiancé, Kaleb. He’s my choice for a teammate when things get scary—and surviving a horror movie together would make one hell of a wedding speech. We’d stick together, keep each other moving, and absolutely refuse to buy a suspiciously cheap house with a mysterious basement.
