Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
most memorable Halloween was in middle school, stepping into my first pro haunted house hosted by radio station Z104. Before then, I didn't know a person could feel two opposite emotions so intensely at once. Walking through those dark, fog-filled hallways, my heart hammered in absolute terror, but the second we hit the exit, I felt pure exhilaration. That addictive contrast between fear and excitement hooked me on horror for life, and I've been chasing that thrill ever since.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d survive because I know the rules of horror, and I lack the fatal curiosity that gets people killed. While others walk toward the creepy noise in the basement yelling "Hello?", I'm already out the back door. I have the hyper-awareness of a final girl, zero shame about running away, and the quick reflexes needed to turn a random household object into a weapon. I don't need to be the strongest person in the room to make it to the credits; I just have to be the smartest and fastest.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
To break the curse of the unlucky $13,000, I’d immediately invest it back into the macabre. I'd use a portion to fund a dream trip to the world's most haunted locations—like the Catacombs of Paris or the Stanley Hotel—to study real atmospheric dread. The rest would go toward building a high-tech, terrifying Halloween haunt of my own to scare the neighborhood. If money is cursed, you might as well spend it on something frightfully spectacular that honors the spirit of horror.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
I would choose my dad. Though he is no longer with us, he will always be my real-life hero. He was the most fiercely protective, no-nonsense person I’ve ever known. While I’d supply the horror movie logic, my dad would bring the raw grit, determination, and calming presence needed to survive. He never panicked in a crisis; he just took charge. Knowing he had my back would give me the ultimate courage. Even against a movie monster, we’d outsmart the killer and make it to the credits.
