Paid $25 for the "Real Haunted Asylum" tour one year. Guide: "Hear that whisper?" That was his walkie-talkie. "Cold spot!" Broken AC vent. "Blood stain from 1923!" Ketchup from his hot dog. My flashlight died, I tripped over an extension cord and screamed. He yelled, "THE SPIRITS GOT HER!" No, it's just an OSHA violation with cobwebs. Making a ghost tour into a dramatic interpretation.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I'm a good survivor because I don't scream, I heckle. I've survived hospitals, debt, marriage,partial paralysis,and Utah Mormons. I'm a final girl by sheer spite and bad jokes.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
Rebuild a savings for my son and I. He is disabled,and I am slowly recovering from a spinal cord injury a few years prior. I want to be able to give my son a better future.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
I learned to be my own hero. I will survive anything with will power, not with someone, but for them.
