What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
It’s difficult to pick a single experience between ghost explorations, Halloween parties, and my very own haunted home. If I had to choose, I’d say my most memorable Halloween was the year I discovered SFX makeup. Playing with latex and fake blood immediately felt natural, and once I started creating monsters of my own, I never looked back.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I wouldn’t answer the phone. I wouldn’t open the door. I definitely wouldn’t investigate that creepy noise downstairs. And I’m NOT going anywhere alone. You won’t catch me being anything but the final girl!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d plan a long road trip to hit as many horrifying, haunted, hair-raising spots as possible and share the journey with the world! I’d also donate a portion to Scares That Care, a horror-community charity that helps others fight real-life monsters. The rest? Fuel for spooky adventures and creepy content!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Elvira. More specifically, Cassandra Peterson. Beyond her dazzling act and killer character creation, Peterson is such a genuine person who stands up for others and has always been unafraid to be herself, even when being goth wasn’t as popular. She paved the way for goth girls everywhere and crafted a legacy to be proud of. I’d want the Mistress of the Dark by my side when the monsters come out!
