Halloween is the year's best day. It frees my inner demon and unbinds my witch. I've never been a Disney Princess, always the Villian.
Help your favorite Halloween fanatic appear in Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt.
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
I took my twin boys to a Boy Scout sponsored Spooky Woods. One boy was quite scared and a particular "Ghost Face" scout kept creeping up on him. I asked him repeatedly to back off as my son was really getting upset. Finally, I rounded on him and told him "I was the scariest thing in those woods and he was about to find out why". He took off like a shot. My now 30 year old sons say this is one of the reasons they love Halloween and love me.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
My ADHD would already have mapped every entrance/exit and any ambush spots in the worst situations. I'd be 4 steps ahead navigating the dangers around me. I'm a fighter, a biter, and can power through any all nighter which gives me an edge. I'm Gen X with an iron will and have survived things that would kill todays young people. My motto is "Bring It!".
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would love to open an online shop for Witches and Spirit-minded people featuring dried herbs, plants, crystals, books, and tools to help in the Craft. As well as featuring offerings from other talented Soul Sisters and Brothers.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My hero is my niece, Amy. She is a wife, mother, Sheriff, and School Resource Officer. She shows so much commitment to the kids that she mentors and the community that she serves. She has 2 young sons that see a strong role model in her and her wife who is also in law enforcement. Amy is my best friend, travel companion and my Ride or Die. She is strong, brave, and the one person I know I can count on to have my back. With her at my side, we would make it out of the scariest of horror movies!
