What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Some of my most memorable Halloween experiences are the simple ones—horror movie marathons with my husband. Every October, we make new lists, hunt down movies we haven’t seen, and spend the month watching as many as we can. We watch horror probably 9 times out of 10 anyway, but October is when we really lean into the classics and make it feel like an event. It’s become one of my favourite Halloween traditions, and some of my favourite memories are just the two of us, curled up watching horror.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end because I genuinely live for horror. I’m currently on a mission to find a movie that can actually scare me—and it’s been one hell of a hunt. I’ve explored everything from disturbing and extreme to supernatural and psychological, discovering new favourites and getting unexpected goosebumps along the way. I don’t just watch horror…I’m always looking for the next one that gets under my skin.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d finally take my husband to Salem in October! Visiting Salem during spooky season has been a dream of mine since I was young, and I’ve actually had an itinerary ready for years. 😂 The history, haunted places, and Halloween atmosphere would be absolutely perfect for us. It’s one of those trips I’ve always dreamed about but haven’t quite been able to make happen—so winning $13,000 would finally make that dream a reality.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My husband, without a doubt. He’s the bravest and kindest person I know, and there’s nothing in life I’d rather face without him by my side—especially a horror movie! 😂 We’ve spent years watching horror together, so I’d like to think our shared obsession gives us at least a slight advantage. If I’m going to survive the apocalypse, I want my favourite person beside me.
