What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
One Halloween night, I found myself on a deserted backroad long after midnight. Everything was eerily quiet until I noticed someone standing motionless along the tree line, watching me pass. There were no houses nearby, no parked vehicles, and absolutely no reason for anyone to be out there. What unsettled me most wasn’t seeing them. It was realizing that when I looked back moments later, they were somehow much closer. To this day, I wonder what would’ve happened if I’d stopped.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
As a former 911 dispatcher, staying calm under pressure, thinking quickly, and trusting my instincts come naturally. But unlike most horror movie characters, I wouldn’t run from the unexplained. I’d be the one investigating it! I’ve always been fascinated by the paranormal, and my curiosity often outweighs my fear. The difference is that I’d approach the unknown with a level head, pay attention to every detail, and use my instincts to stay one step ahead. I’m not just surviving the horror movie.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d turn that unlucky $13,000 into a life-changing blessing! First, I’d pay off debt and give myself some financial breathing room. Then I’d put whatever remained toward my dream of owning a secluded property where my four dogs can have all the space they deserve. And because Halloween is my favorite holiday, I’d absolutely set aside a little money for some terrifyingly good decorations. Bad luck? I call that a fresh start!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Without a doubt, my cousin! We share a fascination with everything horror, paranormal, and unexplained. We’re constantly discussing terrifying stories, strange encounters, and places we’d love to investigate together. While most people would be running from the unknown, we’d probably be the ones willingly walking straight toward it. Our curiosity might get us into trouble, but between our determination, instincts, and shared love of the macabre, we’d make one hell of a final duo!
