What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Halloween has never just been a holiday; it’s practically part of my DNA. My birthday is 2 days before Halloween, so I grew up believing this season was made for me. 🎃 My most memorable Halloweens are the ones where my family and I turn an ordinary night into pure magic. Costumes, pumpkins glowing in the dark, bonfires, laughter, spooky decorations, and memories that last long after the candy is gone. For me, Halloween isn’t one night.It’s an entire season of magic, and I live for every second.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d make it to the end because I’m a mama bear, and apparently surviving chaos is one of my specialties. 😂 I’m resourceful, stubborn, and I know better than to say, “I’ll be right back” or investigate a creepy noise by myself. I’d trust my gut, stick with my people, keep my flashlight (and probably my coffee) close, and run faster than I ever knew I could. I didn’t survive motherhood to get taken out in Act Two. 🎃🔪😂
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d turn that unlucky $13,000 into a whole lot of lucky memories! 🎃 First, I’d give my family an unforgettable Halloween adventure; because watching my kids experience the magic is my favorite part. I’d invest some into my side jobs: photography, writing, lawncare. Then use the rest to create something that lasts: a bigger, better Halloween celebration at home...I have always wanted to create my own spooky, haunted maze in my backyard! 👻🖤
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real-life hero would be my oldest daughter, Tehya. She may be my kid, but she’s also one of the strongest people I know. We’ve grown through hard seasons together, and watching her become the young woman she is today has been one of my greatest joys. If we were trapped in a horror movie, I’d want her beside me.Not because I think she could save me, but because I know we’d protect each other. And honestly… with both of us being stubborn, the monster might want to rethink its life choices. 😂🎃
