What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Last year at my school we got to hold a haunted house loosely based off of sleepy hollow, and I got to scare a lot of people. In the beginning when they go around the corner, I loomed behind them and then I smacked my arms against the loud clanky metal door and fall to the ground. In another area, I sit under a stairwell staring at any unfortunate person, and then I slowly follow them out of the room when they’re trying to escape.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I think I would survive because I have the right level of paranoia. If I hear a noise I would be on edge but I wouldn’t be stupid and go inspect it. I also am always in the scene shop so I think if they attacked me there, I could fight them off with a circ saw or a drill or something. I also am amazing at gore makeup and could stage a scene to make it look like I died and then I’d attack the killer and maybe, hopefully, they wouldn’t see it coming.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I would put some towards my college tuiton and I also might find more masterclasses on SFX makeup, I love learning. I am a theatre major and a senior and it would be so helpful to be able to leave with a little less debt.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Probably my dad, I feel like he could crack his goofy dad jokes and that would instantly make me less terrified. He’s also the type to fight for his kids, and would sacrifice himself. But if I know that we survive I definitely choose him.
