What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

One of my favorite Halloweens was when I was about 10 or 11. It was the first year I could trick-or-treat with friends without our parents. I wore an old plastic Dracula costume, filled a pillowcase with candy, then changed into my Luke Skywalker costume from the year before and hit the whole neighborhood again! Afterward, Mom checked the candy and we watched It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and old horror movies. That night helped make Halloween something I’ve loved ever since.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it because I don’t ignore warning signs. Years as a paramedic taught me to stay calm, think fast, assess danger, and act instead of panic. And after a lifetime of horror movies, I know the rules: don’t split up, don’t investigate strange noises alone, and when something feels wrong, get out. I may not be the fastest one—but I plan on being the one making the smart choices.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d invest the unlucky $13,000 into Midnight Cathedral—better props, stage equipment and venues, professional studio time for our albums, music video production, live-performance production and advertising. I’d use it to take the stories, music and theatrical world I’ve created and bring them to life on a much bigger stage.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real-life hero would be my mom. We lost her unexpectedly in a car accident in 2014, but her strength and influence are still with me every day. She always told my brother and me that we belonged onstage performing together. Today we finally are, through Midnight Cathedral. If I could survive one horror movie with anyone, I’d choose her—not just because she was tough, but because I’d give anything to have one more adventure with her.
