What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

For years, Halloween meant one thing to me, haunted houses. Every October, I was right in the middle of the action, surrounded by fake blood, creepy costumes, fog, screaming people, and enough darkness to make you question every noise you heard. I had been part of a haunted house for years, and I loved it. I added fire. Now, I wish I could say it was all part of some carefully planned special effect. It wasn't and I accidentally burned it down.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

The fire consumed everything, wood, costumes, memories, and every scream that had once filled the haunted house. As the flames finally died, I stood there watching the smoke rise. Everyone thought the nightmare was over. They were wrong. Because sometimes the monster doesn't escape the haunted house. Sometimes… the monster is the one who burned it down.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

If I won $13,000, I’d use it to build something that lasts. I’d put it toward a piece of land and start creating a place my family could call home—a quiet spot away from the chaos where we could make new memories. After accidentally burning down a haunted house, it seems fitting that my next big project should be about building something instead of burning something down.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

I’d choose Elliot Ness. He was a real-life lawman who went after some of the most dangerous criminals of his time. Put him in a horror movie and you’d have a fearless hero who wouldn’t run from the monster—he’d hunt it down. Real history, real courage, and just enough darkness to make it terrifying.
