What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My kindergarten Halloween parade rewired my brain; I was the last kid of the whole school to walk, so I got to see everyone's costumes - the gory, creative, terrifying, and every intersection between. It sparked my love of monster movies into a full-blown adoration for Halloween as unkillable as Michael Meyers. (I was also probably why they banned masks the next year. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a good time.)
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I'm the Horror Nerd With Valuable Skills, baby! If anyone can outwit the hero - I mean, monster or slasher ( ;) ) - it'd be because I was one of their meddling sidekicks.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I wish I could deliver a grand, villainous plan, but, alas: the Midwest was plagued by tornadoes this year, so the unlucky 13,000 will alleviate some of the cost of rebuilding after the ones (plural!) we were impacted by.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My best friend, Christine; though dealing with challenges of her own, she never fails to encourage me to continue making art. I'm a better person and a better artist because of her. It's both of us, or none of us. 'Til Death Do Us Part is for Quitters!
