What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable Halloween is the one that hasn’t happened yet.iv been obsessed with Halloween since I was a kid and I never really grown out of it. I went from trick-or-treating in costumes to throwing epic parties, to becoming a mom and turning my children into minions who share my lifelong obsession with horror. We do haunted houses, horror movies, costumes, and Iv absolutely convinced my kids that some of the things they see on screen might be waiting for them outside

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d survive because I have seen all the movies. I know better than to investigate strange noises, split up, trust the creepy little kid, or say “hello?” into a dark basement. I don’t wait for someone to come save me i know when to run, when to fight, and when the correct survival strategy is simply absolutely not. I’ve spent my entire life watching horror movies like they’re instructional videos so at this point, the killer is going to need a serious plot twist.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

If I won an unlucky $13,000 i would probably put it toward bills or a new van… because nothing is more terrifying than adulthood. If there was any money left over, I’d definitely spend it on a few items to help. Keep my house decorated in the creepiest way.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real-life hero would be my oldest son. He has been beside me since I was 16 and has seen more darkness than anyone should have to. He battled his own demons was knocked down by them and somehow always found the strength to rise again. Hes one of the smartest people I know and tougher than hell. He knows what darkness looks like because he has been in it but he never stopped fighting his way back out. If anyone could survive a horror movie with me it is him.
