Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. I’ve seen more horror movies than I can count, and Rob Zombie films are my all time favorite!

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable Halloween experience was going to a haunted attraction on Devil’s Night with a group of friends. Somewhere in the middle of it, I got completely separated from everyone and somehow took a wrong turn. I spent the rest of the attraction trying to find them while being scared out of my mind, only to realize I had to finish the entire thing alone. I was terrified at the time, but looking back, it’s one of my favorite Halloween memories.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

Because obviously I’m the main character. I’d probably scream, make a few terrible decisions, trip over absolutely nothing, and somehow end up separated from everyone else, but I’d still make it. I’m stubborn, I panic well under pressure, and I refuse to be the person who dies in the first 20 minutes. I’d definitely be bruised, covered in blood, and questioning every choice that got me there, but I’d be there when the credits rolled.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Honestly? Bills. Nothing exciting, but $13,000 would take a huge weight off my shoulders. I’d pay down bills, get ahead on expenses, and give myself and my son a little breathing room. Having that kind of financial cushion would be way luckier than it sounds.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My dad. He raised me to be a strong, independent woman, so if I had to survive a horror movie with anyone, it would be him. After all, he’s also kind of responsible for my love of horror. When I was about 10, he fell asleep on the couch while we were watching TV. The next movie that came on was rated R, and I remember thinking if I didn’t wake him up, I could probably get away with watching it. That movie ended up being Scream, and I was obsessed with horror movies after that.
