What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable Halloween experience was the Halloween of 2005. My older sister and I, who are thick as thieves, went as sister witches with matching neon striped tights. She is 8 years older than me and didn’t have to take me trick or treating, but chose to take me around the block multiple times and venture down to the scariest house in the neighborhood. I would cry every year at the edge of their lawn that had a Jigsaw puppet, but she always held my hand. Spooky together forever.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I would not only survive and thrive, but turn the horrors back upon the assailants. I know the rules of the spirit realm, how to make a weapon out of anything, and most importantly—how to have fun. Remembering, I’m not trapped in my house with them, they’re trapped in my house with me. Muahahah.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

What’s better than a spooky girl with a punk attitude? A spooky girl with a punk attitude with a degree! I would put this money towards my last 2 semesters of my bachelors degree and finish my education. I would also buy outdoor cat houses for the strays I feed.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real life hero is my sister, sammie, of course! We often discuss this and have the foundation of rational, yet creative minds, that embrace the dark and supernatural forces. We would kick down doors, swing axes, and defeat the evil in time for happy hour. Cheers!
