What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

I remember trick or treating with my mom, and we went to a house that had a man dressed in costume and mask, sitting in a chair at the end of the driveway. Some kids would dare each other and took turns getting really close to see if he was real or just a stuffed doll or mannequin. Just as kids got close enough, he'd jump scared everyone. Even the parents. It was scary then, but also fun.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I've watched too many horror movies in my lifetime not to know how to survive. I'm always yelling at the characters on the screen directing them on how to survive the movie scenes as if they could hear me, so I think if it were me in the same predicament, my instincts would keep me alive -maybe even save someone else too.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I had a tree fall on both my house and my car recently. Neither were covered by insurance. Being a single parent, my family and I took a huge loss that even impacted my employment. If I were to win the $13,000 I would purchase a vehicle for my family.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real life superhero would be my oldest daughter. She's been such a supporter of mine. She has no idea how much she inspires me! I'm the mom, but she's more responsible than I've ever been. When a tree fell on my home, she had just moved out and gotten her first place, but she opened her home to her younger sister and I, including our pets, to live until renovations are done on ours. I constantly feel guilty for my presence, but she always reassures me that I'm no burden. I'm forever greatful.
