What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

From working a night with Peaches Christ at Terror Vault to conjuring screams in multiple professional haunted houses, I’ve had more than my fair share of unforgettable Halloween experiences. But my most memorable has to be finally visiting the Haunted Hoochie after nearly 30 years of waiting. They just don’t make haunts like this anymore. It was everything I’d hoped for, and worth every last bit of my sanity.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’m exceptionally good at hide-and-seek, have absolutely no intention of investigating strange noises, and almost always have snacks on me. I know better than to split up (unless they are making stupid decisions), wander into dark corridors, or investigate the slightest suspicious noise. My survival strategy is simple: stay hidden, keep my snacks close, and let the killer underestimate me. I’m in no way trying to be the hero. I’m trying to make it to the sequel.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Honestly, I’d be a tad selfish for once. I, like most of us, have put a lot of money towards climbing out of medical and student loan debt, so I’d do something nice for myself — perhaps a spooky roadtrip — and make a donation to a charity that’s close to my heart.
