Luciana Pous

For me Halloween is the season of good home decor and wearing my best outfits. Plus I love a day where no one asks questions about the fangs

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

When I graduated high school I hosted a very fun Scooby Doo themed Halloween party and I aspire to host something like that now that I am living in the US. It had themed foods and drinks and a little photo area. I had such a good time dressing up and playing games with all my friends, plus it was an absolutely fantastic excuse for my dog to join the festivities despite the fact that she looks nothing like Scooby.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I think I could absolutely negotiate my way out of a haunting. We can do this in a civilized manner and have a conversation about why the monster is out killing people. Unless it's vampires. If it's vampires I'd go willingly. Although maybe this attitude means I wouldn't make it out, I'm not sure. Plan B is scream so good that the directors want me back for the sequel. It's a foolproof plan.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I've always wanted to host a giant murder mystery dinner party, so some of the money would absolutely go to that. The rest would probably go towards funding horror short films. I've got a wonderful team of filmmakers with so many ideas that we haven't had the chance to bring to life. Couple Frankenstein inspired things, demon and ghost stories, physiological thrillers- something fun would come out of it I am sure.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My father. He's taken care of me my entire life and he absolutely could survive anything. He's also smart enough to not follow the creepy noises into the woods. Though I don't remember the last time he's ever watched a horror movie, so that might make it a bit harder. That's what I'm there for though! Good balance of real life skills and a bunch of random knowledge about the supernatural and how horror movies function. I think we could absolutely do it.
