Have you ever been asked “why are you dressed like that? Halloween is in October.” I have, and each time it reminds me what I’m doing right.

Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Last Halloween, I went all out. The weekend began at a haunted house with my friends, scoping out the coolest horror costumes. Then, trick or treating around university housing with other students, and finally, we went to the Boo! Halloween rave in Seattle, where I was in costume as Gerard Way. I even dyed my hair black and did my makeup with fake blood! The event had carnival games and fair rides alongside the music, and it was an amazing and wild experience.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Three words would get me through a horror movie: trust no one. I’d be a lone wolf because you never know who your friends truly are. I am smart, detail oriented, and would be able to problem-solve my way out of just about anything. And if I can’t think my way out of it, I can always put my athletic history to use and just start running!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I am in my senior year of undergraduate studies on a pre-med track, and following graduation will be pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy, so the unlucky $13,000 would be an incredible gift to support my education.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
There is not a doubt in my mind that my hero is my older brother, Trevor. He is the smartest, most driven, kind, and well rounded individual I’ve ever met. It’s an honor to have grown up with him and to get to look up to him every day. He is about to finish his PhD in cybersecurity after earning two bachelors degrees in physics and math. I’ve never met another who is so smart yet so humble at the same time.
