What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Last year, I took my love of Halloween to an entirely new level by single-handedly creating my first full haunted house experience from the ground up. I designed, built, decorated, and brought every spooky detail to life myself. Watching families walk through something that had existed only in my imagination—and seeing their screams, laughter, and excitement—was unforgettable. It was the moment I realized I didn’t just love Halloween; I loved creating Halloween for others.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end because I’ve watched enough horror movies to know the rules: I’m not splitting up, investigating mysterious noises, or running upstairs when the exit is downstairs. I’m resourceful, stubborn, and surprisingly calm when things get chaotic. And if all else fails, I build haunted houses for fun—I know exactly where the killer is hiding.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d invest the prize money right back into growing our haunted house so it can become bigger, better, and even more impactful. What started as a love of Halloween has become a way to bring our community together while supporting and raising awareness for local nonprofits. Winning would help us create more scares, welcome more families, and use Halloween as a force for good in our community.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My little sister, without question. No matter how dark, depraved, or completely unhinged the situation gets, she’s going along with me. She’s ungodly smart, fiercely loyal, and always three steps ahead. I’ll handle the questionable decisions; she’ll handle the escape plan. And if this is a horror movie, she’s absolutely the sister who already brought the shovel—no questions asked.
