Growing up, horror movies were my bedtime stories. I’ve been in love with anything creepy, spooky or gory ever since!

Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween was sneaking into an abandoned hotel with on Halloween night. We thought we were alone until we started hearing footsteps and realizing someone was watching us. Supposedly the owners were there and had apparently been trying to scare us the whole time. Then the cops ended up showing up. Somehow, we walked away without getting in trouble—but it was easily the creepiest Halloween I’ve ever had!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d make it to the end because I’ve watched enough horror movies and crime shows to know exactly what NOT to do. I’d be the final girl who stays calm, trusts her instincts, and actually pays attention. I’m not going downstairs alone because I heard a noise, and if a killer is chasing me, I’m definitely not running upstairs—what am I supposed to do, hide in the attic and wait for my death? I came prepared to survive, not make bad decisions!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My mom isn’t just my hero because she’s my mom. She’s my hero because she has faced something far scarier than any horror movie could ever create — cancer — and she has beaten it three times. If anyone can survive a horror movie, it’s the woman who has already survived cancer three times. And honestly, if the killer came after us, I’d probably just point at her and say, “You really don’t want to mess with this woman!”
