Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
It was Halloween night, and my friend and I were home alone, just being kids with nothing better to do. We found a Ouija board and started messing around, asking it questions, half-laughing, not taking it seriously. Then I said, "Make the telephone ring." We waited. A few minutes later, the phone rang. I picked it up, and there was nothing on the other end — just dead air. My friend looked at me, and without a word, she put the board away. She didn't want to play it no more.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
"Because I've spent my whole life surviving things that would make a final girl quit. I see the danger coming first, I pack the supplies, and I head for higher ground while everyone else is still standing in the flood arguing about whose fault it is. I've been through worse than anything a horror movie could throw at me, and I'm still standing, still sharp, still here. He'd show up at my door and I'd already have his number, his motive, and an exit plan."
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
"They call 13 unlucky, but I'd take that money and go find the ghosts. Book a flight to somewhere I've never been, check into the haunted hotel nobody wants, eat the sketchy street food, and talk to the locals who know where the real stories live. I've spent too long surviving other people's chaos. This time I'd spend the cursed money on trouble I actually choose."
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
"My real-life scary movie hero is my best friend Debbie. That woman has walked through fire with me for years and never flinched. She's the one who grabs your hand when everything's falling apart and says let's go. So yeah, if the world ever actually turned into a horror movie, I'd want Debbie right next to me. We'd pack the car, hit the road, and outlast every single thing that came for us. She's my person. Alan my husband would be dead in the first five minutes." 🤣
