What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Age 8, Jolo, WV - my costume was a trash bag ghost with my mom's pillowcase. Fell in the creek on the dirt road, got covered in mud, still kept trick-or-treating. My mom said I looked scarier after. I've been committed to the bit ever since.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I'm from Appalachia - we know how to run in the woods, hide in a holler, and swing first. I'm too pretty to die first, too smart to go in the basement, and too petty to let the killer win. Plus, everyone knows the blonde from WV makes it to the sequel.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
New tires so I can stop sliding off our mountain roads, help my mama, and upgrade my Halloween makeup kit from Walmart face paint to real SFX. And donate to Starlight so sick kids get Halloween - because every kid deserves candy, not a hospital bracelet.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My momma. She's survived raising me, WV winters, and my Halloween decorations staying up year-round. If she can survive my teenage years, she can survive Michael Myers. And she'd probably offer him a biscuit and tell him to act right.
