What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable Halloweens started with my mom, a seamstress who made every costume I dreamed up. I was a cat, vampire, hobo, peach—and eventually, I would only dress as something scary. In the ’90s, my friends and I raided my moms ’70s closet and went as pimps and hookers. One male friend wore a luau skirt and bikini top she had sewn for herself! Looking back, Halloween became something my mom and I created together, and those memories still mean everything to me.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end because I’ve spent a lifetime studying the genre. I know not to split up, investigate strange noises, trust strangers—or ignore the obvious red flags. I know the rules. Also, I have big boobs, but rarely wear heels anymore… so

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d use it to create the ultimate Halloween experience: an incredible custom costume, an immersive horror-themed party, elaborate sets, creepy characters, and enough fake blood to make Michael Myers nervous. Basically, I’d take the Halloween magic I’ve loved my whole life and turn it up to 11.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My dog. Maybe not my hero, but my ride or die! She hates horror movies, but she’d be by my side when things go sideways. If we’re going to face a monster, I want my most loyal sidekick with me.
