What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Honestly, Halloween for me has always been less about one huge memory and more about the feeling of it. The decorations, scary movies, costumes, candy, and that one time of year when being a little weird is completely encouraged. I love seeing what people come up with and how seriously grown adults will commit to being absolutely ridiculous for one night.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

Because I ask way too many questions. 😂 I’m not hearing a noise downstairs and casually going to investigate in the dark. Lights are coming on, exits are being identified, and I’m figuring out what makes sense before I move. I’m also not splitting up from the group because apparently nobody in horror movies has learned that lesson yet. Curiosity might get me into trouble, but overthinking is getting me back out.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Can I be completely honest? I want the $13,000. 😂 I’d use it to help build a more stable life, put some toward our future home, invest some into the business I’m building, and keep a little aside to actually enjoy. Nothing wildly glamorous — just the kind of money that can take some pressure off while helping turn a few plans into reality. Although spending exactly $13 of it on something ridiculously unlucky feels mandatory.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My fiancé, Matt. Not because either of us has any actual horror-movie training, but because between his instincts and my tendency to analyze absolutely everything, I like our odds. He’d be ready to act while I’m in the background asking, “Okay, but WHY is the door mysteriously open?” We’d either survive together or be the most entertaining people in the movie.
