Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
I spent Halloween with my partner when we were 17. We trick-or-treated as our last year as “kids”. It was an amazing escape and so fun. I was dressed as the Bride of Frankenstein and they were Rick from Rick and Morty. The night was everything I hoped for on Halloween. It was my first Halloween since my dad passed away and celebrating Halloween helped immensely. That season in general was so impactful in my grieving process. I got to scare act as well and it was a wonderful way to cope.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I am a really resilient person. I’ve gone through profound losses and bullying. Every time I am knocked down I only come back stronger than before. So I’m def making it as a final girl.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I am currently working on my mortuary science degree. I’d use the prize to help with licensing fees that are required for my degree. As well as putting money towards my dad’s final disposition in a cemetery.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
That’s a hard one. I think Elvira would be my top choice. I love her character and Cassandra herself is an amazing person who holds many of my beliefs and did wonders for the queer community.
