Kassi Haley

For as long as I can remember Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. A time for fun and to be scared and get out of my head. A dream

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

One of my most memorable Halloween experiences was when my mom and me would take out all of our Halloween decorations and start decorating the front yard and inside our house. She had this really cool witches broom, and I would pretend to fly around the neighborhood and pretend to be a witch. We would make up spells and potions, and she made the best haunted house some of which was covering your eyes and feeling creepy food that seemed like worms and bobbing for apples. She was the magic.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I feel like I would make it to the end of the movie because I’ve seen a lot of scary movies, and I’m always the person that screams at the TV like why did that person do that? She’s gonna get killed she could’ve just did this and she would’ve lived. I also feel like I’ve been through much scarier times so my strength would be able to get me to the end. I have learned we must be brave and we must continue on for the people we love.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I think the best thing I could do is try and help my mom out. She works so hard and cares so much about our family and really anyone. I’d want to try and help her maybe put it in a little savings to get a house together so she could leave her job that treats her poorly and start working with kids again. I have also lost a lot of family members to cancer so I would definitely want to donate some to the charities that are most important to me. I watch the show good witch so 13 is not unlucky.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real life superheroes are my dad who passed away from colon cancer and my big brother who died at 33 three months before my dad had passed. Because their death was so much scarier than any horror movie. and my mom who is the most kindest, generous person I know and I don’t know what I do if I lost her. These are my heroes some in heaven, some right here on earth with me and I would survive a horror movie for them. And my BFF Jessica. If anyone can survive she can. I trust her with my life.
