Joshua Helms

Halloween is awesome and that’s when the best movies and shows come out. I watch ghost shows to fall asleep to as comfort shows.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Being a kid and dressing as Ghostface when my brother’s friend was running a haunted house. I sat up in a dark spot and a lady got scared and asked “is that real?” Before I started chasing her. Will always be a fond Halloween memory.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I think it really depends on the horror movie. Ultimately though I believe I’d be smart about things as that’s really the only way to survive.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Well my life has been spiraling out of control the last few months, it would really help me get back on track by getting me up to date on a lot of bills and debt.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

I’d say my real life hero is my brother Matt. When I was around 4 years old he took me in from my mom who was going through a mental episode. She demanded me back a couple months later and I was taken into the foster system at the age of 5 along with my sister. He ended up getting us out and raising us to adulthood. He’s also the one I’d want to survive a horror movie with.
