What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Halloween has always been more than costumes for me. What I remember most is that feeling after dark—the cold air, carved pumpkins, scary movies, and everyone becoming someone else for one night. I’ve always loved the darker side of art, skulls, ravens and horror, so Halloween has always felt like my season.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’ve spent over 10 years in construction, also trained in film and have worked on movie sets and TV sets so I know how to stay calm, solve problems and recognize when something is seriously unsafe. Rule #1: I’m not checking out that strange noise alone. Rule #2: I’m finding the exits. Rule #3: if somebody says “let’s split up,” they’re officially on their own. 😂
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d use it to make some good memories with the people I love, help out my family where I could, put some away for the future, and definitely save enough for one absolutely ridiculous Halloween trip or haunted adventure. If I’m winning unlucky $13,000, I’m making sure it turns into something lucky.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My dad. He’s the kind of person you want beside you when things get scary—calm, tough, practical, and always looking out for the people he loves. He’s taught me a lot about strength and getting through hard times. In a horror movie, I’d trust him to keep his head, find a way out, and make sure we both made it to the credits.
