What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

For me, Halloween isn’t just about the scares, it’s about the unforgettable warmth of family traditions. My ultimate Halloween memory is when my family and I attended an annual Halloween party. The night was a perfect mix of crisp autumn air, a bumpy hayride, TPing the people we loved, and standing around a roaring fire. We spent the entire evening laughing, eating fire-roasted hotdogs and smashing messy s’mores. Those are the timeless, cozy moments I will always remember.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I would survive a horror movie because I simply refuse to make the classic, foolish mistakes that get everyone else killed. While other characters are screaming, panicking, or running up the stairs into a dead end, my mind goes into pure, huper-focused survival mode. I am practical, highly observant, and fiercely determined. I’m too smart to be a victim, and far too stubborn to let a villain win.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

If I win the unlucky $13,000, I wouldn’t let it sit in a bank, I’d use it to cure a massive horror drought in Southern Illinois. Right now, local fans have to drive over an hour to find a professional haunt that isn’t a small scale school fundraiser. I would use the funds to build a year-round, professional horror attraction. Halloween shouldn’t just be a season, it should be a place where horror fans can celebrate the spirit of October 31st all 365 days a year.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

If I have to survive a horror movie, there is no doubt I’m taking my best friends with me. These girls are just as wildly chaotic, relentless, and crazy as some of the iconic slashers we all know and love. W eWorld to be the group of friends running away in terror, or hiding under the bed, we would be the group hunting the killer down. With our combined energy, shared minds, and absolute lack of fear, we wouldn’t just survive, the villain would be the one trying to survive us.
