Halloween ain’t cute. It’s creepy, twisted, funny, and a little dangerous. Hell, look at me—I’m basically the whole damn holiday.

Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Probably the Halloweens before everything became about perfect costumes and social media pictures. Cheap masks, pillowcases full of candy, running the neighborhood after dark, and being convinced every abandoned house was haunted. Somehow the simpler it was, the better it was.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Because I’m not investigating the weird noise in the basement. I’m locking the door, grabbing something heavy, and leaving. I’ve got enough life experience to know curiosity gets people killed. And if the killer does catch me, he’s at least going to remember the fight.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d do something responsible with most of it, then use just enough to make a bad decision worth remembering. Pay something off, help somebody I care about, and maybe buy myself something completely unnecessary. If it’s unlucky money, I might as well have some fun spending it.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My dad. He’s been gone a long time, but he’s still the man I’d want beside me when everything goes sideways. I’d like to think between what he taught me and what life has taught me since, we’d give the monster one hell of a bad night.
