I’ve been working in haunted houses since I was 15 years old. I am now 37. Halloween is the only day my mask comes off and I can be me.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

I was a very unusual kid. I got picked on a lot because I had a fascination with the movie the crow and other horror movies when I volunteered for my first weekend at a haunted house. I was greeted with open arms and realized everybody else was as weird as me. I had finally found a place to belong alongside the things that go bump in the night.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I would make it to the end of a horror movie because I would be the only character more deranged than the killer

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I would use the unlucky $13,000 to help my wife and I buy a safe home for our family.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real life hero would be my little brother Mike. He’s a United States Army veteran, and genuinely one of the most driven and unshakable people I have ever met in my entire life.
