What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My dad would make our Halloween costumes. We had a costume contest every year at the Lauderdale Lakes ballfield. We won every year! Then, in 1976, it was our last year, as we were too old for the contest. A woman said, " Now the Beattys can't compete." Then my dad said, " Well, I have grandchildren."
