Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Decorating the house. as a kid, it was always a good time to pull out the boxes of decorations, we had a lot, and transform the front room into a crypt to spook anyone who came by. Last year we decorated the front of my home to look like a face with fangs, so trick - or - treaters would have to knock on the mouth of the beast. It was a lot of fun. But, the best is yet to come! My son has been practicing on some drywall stilts which he plans to incorporate into this years Halloween costume.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Jump scares will get me, but I usually get to the end of a horror movie by relying on my calm since and sensibility. I was trained from my first job as a lifeguard how to keep cool in stressful situations. My time in the US Navy helped me hone those skills. Also, I am well practiced as a frequent patron at Louisville Gore Club.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
Put it back into by business, Legendary Sewing. Supporting sewists in the betterment of their craft, and giving back to my Quilts of Valor Chapter in Floyds Knobs IN
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My dad, who taught me the joy of the season, and how to take a joke. He worked at an amusement park as a prop guy for their haunted houses, he was so happy and proud at that job. He really taught me how to find joy in creativity. But my survival crew would be my whole family, we're a resilient bunch.
