I have been told spooky season is my season. I say it’s a lifestyle. Halloween is all year for me.
Will Jessica Jenkins haunt the pages of Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, meet our cast of horror icons, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt? It’s up to you to decide their fate...
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
In 2006 my brother took me to my first ever Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. I never saw a scary movie before. It was terrifying and I ran out of a house so scared I was crying. Then I said I wanted to come back for my birthday and I’ve been going every year since.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I think I’ve watched enough horror movies to know how to avoid every bad situation. But cardio is key to running away from the killer. I also do some cardio kick boxing classes so I might be short but I think I could put up a good fight with the killer.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would book a trip with my mom to go to Japan for Halloween and do all the horror and Halloween events they have over there.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Matthew Lillard might have been a Ghostface killer but all this work he does for support the lgbt community. Bringing awareness to issues around the world and speaking up for those who don’t have voices. I would want to survive with him. Plus he’s very tall and would help me reach things that I couldn’t reach.
