What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Growing up, I wasn't allowed to celebrate Halloween. I'd sit at the window watching everyone have fun, wishing I could join in. The year I moved out, my friends changed that forever. Learning my story, they threw me my first Halloween. I dressed as a princess, and they had me visit each of their houses to say "trick or treat" for the full experience. We carved pumpkins, went to a haunted house, and bobbed for apples. It was pure magic, and it sparked my lifelong love for Halloween.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d survive by being smart, quiet, and stealthy instead of screaming and running wildly like everyone else. Thanks to stealth video games, I know how to use cover and stay low. My gear: dark, quiet clothes, sneakers, a jacket, and a knife (or any improvised weapon). I’d throw glass bottles to create distractions and sneak past danger. If all else fails, I’m sprinting as fast as possible and won’t stop until I reach the safety of a police station. That's how you reach the final credits.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d use the $13,000 to tackle the practical things first—paying off some bills and giving my niece a nice boost with her college expenses. She got a full academic scholarship (so proud!) but needs help with some other things. With any remaining funds, I’d treat myself to a brand-new couch so I can sink in, relax, and binge horror movies in comfort. Turning "unlucky" cash into helping family, clearing debt, and upgrading my horror movie setup feels like the best way to spend every last dollar.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Out of all my heroes, I’d choose my older brother Mark to survive a horror movie with me. As a Marine and a police Sergeant leading a human trafficking task force, he’s fearless and tactical. He can analyze any situation, execute a plan instantly, and pivot on a dime when things go wrong. On top of his incredible instincts, he lives at the gym and is huge. With his strength, training, and protectiveness, no movie monster stands a chance against us.
