What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Starting the day with exploring an old insane asylum where YES we believe we encountered…SOMETHING. It’s an experience that will stay with me forever. We then set up our own trick or treat haunt for the neighborhood kids and ended the evening with a large bonfire.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

Ha! Depends on the horror movie, doesn’t it? Anyone who says they’d survive ALL horror movies is lying to you AND themselves! But, I’d survive cuz we all know historically speaking the “girl next door” outlives them all. Well, that’s me! I AM Laurie Strode, Sidney Prescott, Dani Ardor and Sarah Connor. I am the unexpected. The shy. The slightly sarcastic. The wily. The personification of the OG FAFO Generation X that has learned to make do with duct tape, self reliance, & sheer will.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

It’s only unlucky if you don’t win! I intend to win! That $13,000 would go to help my 12 year old special needs, fully dependent child.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real-life hero is my (adult) nephew Tyler who is also my best friend. He embodies kindness, which is often its own unsuspecting weapon. Yet, he’s also resourceful, adventurous, wise beyond his years & watches everything with the intensity of Michael Myers but the survival skills of Ellen Ripley. Together we’d make it to the very end and have the most fun getting there!
