What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
It has to be when my cool older neighbors asked me to be in their haunt when I was 12. I was hooked! Now my cemetery is visited by hundreds. The first thing I did when I was 12 was make an electric chair that sounded authentic! Now my son Jason and I make memories everyday building animitronics and props and arranging for lights and sounds that haunt the whole neighborhood for the month of October. And yes, my son is named after Jason Vorhees!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I could honestly say I have seen every horror movie known to man. I watch them year round. Also I fall asleep to them and let them run all night so I’ve learned a thing or two. I know I could survive to the end, no matter the villain! My survival skills would adapt and remember “evil doesn’t have to run” so just be quicker. Be quick, stealthy and smart!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
No to be clichè but I am comfortable and have everything I need. I’d help those less fortunate in my community. Winter can be tough in New England and something as buying coats would be helpful to many. That and then treat myself to a new Halloween prop!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My son Jason. He is my hero. He’s just a great kid. 20 years old and does everything for me and my wife. He works 3 jobs to save money for Halloween. That being said he refuses to take money from my elderly neighbors after cutting their lawns. Also he’s 6 foot 5 230 lbs so that would come in handy!
