I have been a big Halloween, scary movie type of girl. I go to bed watching scary movies. It helps my mind relax, as weird as that sounds.
Help your favorite Halloween fanatic appear in Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt.
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My father is a retired Naval Chief and when I was growing up he and a bunch of friends volunteered at a placed in Chesapeake, Virginia called "The Haunted Forrest". As a teen, my cousins and I would volunteer too jumping out of trees, standing in ditches grabbing peoples legs and running around scaring them. Best times ever.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I would make it to the end of a horror because survival in a horror context comes down to prioritizing basic logic and preservation over curiosity—a trait that keeps final survivors alive while everyone else makes classic cinematic mistakes.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
If I were to win $13,000, I would help my Veteran father find a newer home that is more handicap friendly for him to get around in. A one level home with no stairs and wider hallways.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My father is my real life hero. A Vietnam Vet with massive survival skills. I am half Filipino and Halloween wasn't something celebrated there while I was young. Moving to America my father made sure we grew up enjoying all American traditions and Halloween was always the best in my childhood and even more so as an adult. My children and my only grandchild fully enjoy everything horror.
