What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Skipping youth group to go to Halloween Horror Nights with my friends (who also went to the same youth group!) Apparently the pastor’s sermon mentioned HHN somewhere and him antagonizing it and we all just found it funny because guess where we are?? We all didn’t care, we had an amazing time and we’ve never been afraid to love horror things and Halloween!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
“Cowardice” be damned, the moment I hear about some spooky happenings I’m planning my exit and how to bring anyone in my circle with me (I’m not a total a-hole!) I like to think that I was blursed (blessed + cursed) with the power of discernment no matter how much my curiosity piques!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would use it to help me be more present in life with my family and self-care. I would use the money to give my post-work burnout recovery plan a boost (go back to school and pay for my classes) while comfortably continuing my financial contributions to my dad’s house (I help pay some bills) and share amongst the rest of my family (help more with little brother’s college, etc.)
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My grandmother! She’s the one who put me on to the horror genre (lived with her the first few years of my life and I would straight up be in my walker watching stuff like Rats etc.) We’ll use our collective horror movie knowledge and make it out no sweat!
