What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Halloween is basically a lifestyle for me. I’m a huge Michael Myers fanatic, and every year one of my best friends and I build our own haunted house for friends and family. We plan the scares, decorate everything, dress up, and try to make it better every year. Seeing people scream, laugh, and sometimes refuse to keep walking is half the fun. Some of my favorite Halloween memories aren’t from visiting a haunt? they’re from creating one ourselves

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’ve watched Michael Myers enough times to know exactly what NOT to do. I’m not investigating the strange noise, splitting up, or assuming the killer is dead after checking once. Between being a horror fanatic and building a haunted house every year, I’m always thinking about what makes a good scare work. I’d pay attention, trust my instincts, and RUN. Although knowing my luck, I’d survive the whole movie just to hear the Halloween theme start playing behind me

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d use some of the $13,000 to give myself and my family a little financial breathing room, and probably put a little toward making our yearly haunted house even better. But most importantly, I’d donate a portion to an organization helping people and families affected by substance abuse and addiction. Addiction has personally affected my family, so being able to turn something this exciting into a chance to help another family would mean a lot to me

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My fiancée, Paulina. She’s my best friend, my biggest supporter, and the person I’d want beside me in just about any situation, including a horror movie. We’d keep each other calm, laugh through the chaos, and figure out a way to make it to the credits together. Although if Michael Myers shows up, all those years of me being obsessed with Halloween are finally going to pay off lol
