What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
One year, when I was a kid, I made a remotely-puppeteered animatronic skeleton to scare trick-or-treaters. I started the project in early July of that year, and I had it ready by that Halloween. To the surprise of the local trick-or-treaters, the skeleton in my yard was able to not only move, but respond to them in real-time. I felt like a mad scientist.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Because I’ve watched nearly every single horror movie and I know not to go off alone into the woods when there’s a known serial killer on the loose. Also, I have a car that I could use to run over any zombies, serial killers, and any other creatures of the night.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
There are a lot of things I could do with $13,000, but more than anything, I would want to use it to fund my indie animated show. From the moment I first watched the show Gravity Falls as a kid, I knew that someday I had to have my own animated show. I knew that my purpose in life was to take the stories that swirled around in my head and share them with the world. I’ve been formulating a concept for an animated series for about 5 years, and I truly believe that $13,000 could bring it to life.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
He’s not real, but I would want Leon S. Kennedy on my side. If he was with me during a zombie apocalypse, the zombies would be running from us.
