Iβm a Black Gen-X woman who never outgrew HalloweenβI grew into it. Horror became my passion, my brand (Horror Baeπ) and my community. ππ

Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
Whatβs your most memorable Halloween experience?
Honestly, it’s hard to choose just one. Halloween has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. But watching my own kids fall in love with the season made it even better. Decorating the house, costumes, scary movies, trick-or-treating—it became our thing. Now I’ve built an entire horror community around something I’ve loved since childhood. Halloween isn’t just one night in my house. It’s a whole lifestyle. π
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Because I actually WATCH horror movies. π I know the rules. I’m not investigating the noise, I’m not reading the creepy Latin out loud, and if the house says GET OUT, I’m gone. I’m observant, stubborn, resourceful, and I don’t panic easily. And absolutely nobody is convincing me to split up. I’m making it to the final scene—even if I have to crawl there. ππͺ
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d invest part of it into growing Horror Bae and creating even more horror content, experiences and community around the genre I love. I’d also use some of it to make an unforgettable Halloween for my kids. And because $13,000 is supposed to be unlucky, I’d definitely spend exactly $13 of it on a lottery ticket—just to see how committed the universe is to the bit. ππ
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My daughter. She’s smart, observant and notices things other people miss—which is exactly who I need beside me when the creepy music starts. π I’d spend the whole movie trying to protect her, and she’d probably be the one figuring out what was actually happening. Between the two of us, the villain would have a problem. We’re both making it to the sequel. ππͺ
